About Dr. Jonathan Stuart

Dr. Jonathan Stuart is a Board Certified Acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed under the Texas Medical Board. He has both a Masters and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He’s trained in the US and China. He currently has a private practice in Houston, TX, and lectures at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Growing up in an Asian household, from a young age, Jonathan was exposed to Chinese Medicine and its theory from his grandmother. She would recommend foods and herbs for other family members to take and give lifestyle advice. What really interested him in Chinese medicine though was its philosophical view not just on medicine, but on life in general and how by understanding the nature of Yin and Yang we can better navigate through this life and find the right lifestyle that fits the individual. This has played a big role in shaping the way he has practiced Chinese medicine and how he approaches his own patients and their issues.
